About Lighthouse Travel & Tours

Lighthouse Travel & Tours (LT&T) was started in 1998. LT&T is currently a registered seller of travel of California that specializes in creating personalized services through trips and corporate meetings.

The initial focus of this niche tour company provided unique and fun tours for groups inbound to the San Francisco bay area, emphasizing “memorable trips” off the beaten path.

Awards

LT&T proudly displays the 'Best Guided Tour 2004' which was awarded by the Silicon Valley Concierge Association at their Annual Hospitality Event because of the distinctive planning of local trips created and network of people which they collaborate with.

Creative Team

Donna West, Founder and Creative Programs Leader, Lighthouse Travel & Tours, has experiences living across the USA. This includes both the San Francisco Bay region on the West coast and in Kansas City, MO, the mid-west or the heart of USA. Donna has traveled throughout USA and internationally. She is certified by the International Tour Management Institute (ITMI) and has college degrees in Education and Travel. Donna has completed additonal courses in Business, Accounting, and Journalism.

Donna prepares the logistics for meeting and travel programs with clients. She also shares information about destinations as a Contributing Writer with Suite101.com. Suite101.com is a leading online magazine for curious readers, the magazine is home to authoritative articles, commentary and opinions on hundreds of relevant topics.

Today

LT&T has over 10 years of specialized experience with managing corporate meetings and arranging packages and custom tours throughout the USA and Europe for individuals as well as special interest groups. Examples include: wine, culinary, literary, and history excursions and programs.
